Fifty Something Tour 2026

It’s not everyday we get to cool down as the peak season for concerts and events starts to pick up here at our favorite concert center. Located right in the center of the city, FROST is the only place to go for the best shows and events all year long - and especially right now. ESPECIALLY when we have the heavy metal rockers of Rush coming to the stage for a real special one. Not only are they celebrating fifty years together rock and rolling - no, that’d be a little bit too simple for them, albeit just as special. But they’re ALSO celebrating their first tour run in ten years - and THAT folks, is worth screaming and shouting all the lyrics to Show Don’t Tell. And yeah - we’re getting two nights here at Frost because we’re just oh so special. But if you’re here reading this now, that means you’re one of the lucky ones who got tickets to night one. Ready to rock and roll with another 8000 true fans?? Good, great, amazing - we were hoping so, and we’re ready to rage and mosh right next to ya.

Rush are true rock titans — and if you don’t know who the band is or only heard of them through your once cool uncle, prepare to get a lesson in Mr.Tom Sawyer. The band that flipped an entire genre on its head when Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart came together out of Toronto in the early 70s got their start  in basements and bar gigs before becoming one of the most influential progressive-rock legacies ever recorded. And over five decades, Rush has earned countless accolades: seven Grammy nominations, an induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame a decade ago, the Order of Canada, and a catalogue that permanently lives in the bloodstream of rock culture. We’re talking hits like  “Tom Sawyer,” “Limelight,” “The Spirit of Radio,” “YYZ,” “Closer to the Heart,” “2112” — the list of classic rock bops genuinely does not end. And they’ve inspired EVERYONE too - from Iron Maiden to Megadeth to Metallica and the Pixies. If you know rock and roll - then you know Rush.

And now, after ten years off the road, they’re stepping back into the spotlight for the Fifty Something Tour. As Geddy Lee put it in a recent interview, “Alex and I did some serious soul-searching… and we realized we miss it.” Fans everywhere feel the same, AKA us. And quite frankly, we’re so here for it.

Y’all ready to party?! ‘Cause we are too! See ya real soon - right here at Frost, right here for all the rockers of San Antonio!
