AT&T Center is set to host metal bands Deftones and Gojira on Tuesday, 3rd May 2022. Finally, Deftones and Gojira's much-anticipated trek is announced with re-scheduled dates. This tour has been postponed twice due to the pandemic, but now both musicians are very much passionate about hitting North America's roads again. The spring trek will kick off on 14th April 2022 with scheduled visits to major notable spots, including Seattle, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Washington, and some others. After performing multiple gigs till the end of May, Deftones and Gojira will smash their final beats at The Armory, Minneapolis, on 28th May 2022. Both multi-award winners are warming up to return to the stage and if you're awaiting their arrival, hurry up and book your tickets ASAP before none are left!
American band Deftones are famous for their alternative metal and art-rock. Initially, the band was facing much instability regarding group members, but later, in 1993, they finally found musicians who decided to stick with each for as long as possible. After that, they released their first debut album, Adrenaline which gained popularity with positive word of mouth and managed to develop a small fan base for the band. Deftones used to promote their Album by touring with other artists. Deftones's third Album, White Pony, gave them the breakthrough they had all been waiting for. The single, Elite, won Grammy for Best Metal Performance which eventually gave them global recognition. Deftones also won the Album of the year award at Revolver Golden Gods Awards and got nominated for three more Grammys, whose result is pending this year.
The French heavy metal band, Gojira, initially known as Godzilla, is famous for their progressive & technical metal styles, environmentally-themed lyrics, and spiritual rhythms. Gojira has released seven studio albums which helped them in winning several major awards, including Epiphone Revolver Golden Gods Music Award, Heavy Music Award, Loudwire Music Award and some other competitive awards as well.
