Kevin Darnell Hart, a self-made man who initiated his career by winning the amateur comedy competitions at local clubs in New London, is now a household name in the U.S. Initially, he was sometimes booed off from the stage, but he kept on working for what he loved the most and today, he is one of the most sought-after names in the comedy industry. Hart got his first actual break in 2001 for a recurring role in a TV series, Undeclared. Judd Apatow saw the spark in him and he was the one who casted Hart in this series. Kevin released his stand-up comedy shows later, and his career continued to stride upwards.
